Battle Power

(1)Benefits from BP
Bonus EXP: Battle Power increases the EXP gained when killing monsters. EXP is awarded based on the damage done. The higher your Battle Power is, the more damage you deal, and therefore the more EXP you receive! To view the bonus EXP you can receive, hover your mouse over a monster and the bonus EXP rate will be displayed near the monster's name.
Conquer Invincible Monsters: Some monsters have a star overhead, and are invincible against those with lower Battle Power. Only players with higher Battle Power can harm them.
Damage Reduction: When attacked by a player with lower Battle Power, the damage he can deal to you is limited. The lower his Battle Power is compared to yours, the less Damage you will receive. Conversely, when your Battle Power is higher than your rival's, you can deal more damage to him.

When a player with a higher Battle Power than yours is attacking you, a blue shield will appear around him. If your BPs are close, a red shield will appear instead.

(2) BP Calculation
Character Level:1 Level = 1 Battle Power.
Rebirth: 1st Rebirth = 5 Battle Power; 2nd Rebirth = 10 Battle Power.

Equipment Quality :Refined = 1 Battle Power; Unique = 2 Battle Power, Elite = 3 Battle Power; Super = 4 Battle Power.
Sockets: 1 Socket = 1 Battle Power.
Super Gems: 1 Super Gem = 1 Battle Power.
+X Items: Every "+" of an item = 1 Battle Power.
Others:There are several other ways to obtain bonus BP.

(3) Bonus BP in Cross-server Travel Status
1)Bonus BP from character level will be synchronized.
2)Bonus BP from rebirth will be synchronized.
3)Bonus BP from equipment status will be synchronized, and will vary if you change equipment.
Equipment status includes quality, sockets, embeded gems, equipment composing, and mount composing.
4)Bonus BP from nobility rank will be synchronized.
5)Bonus BP from mentor system will be synchronized when mentor is online.
6)Bonus BP from Guild will be synchronized.
7)Bonus BP of Clan will be synchronized.
Note: The BP of 2-handed weapons, bows and backswords are doubled, when equipped. However, the left-hand weapon will not provide any bonus BP.

Take a Super +5 Bow with 2 Super Dragon Gems, for example.

Quality: 8 BP. Sockets: 4. Super Dragon Gems: 4. +5: 10 BP.

Total BP: 26.

Normal BP: 13.

However, a pure Warrior has learned the Perseverance skill, and so can equip both a 2-handed weapon and a shield, but will only have the normal BP of 13 from the 2-handed weapon and the shield, which means the BP from the 2-handed weapon will not be doubled.
